Pol-Tex International, a division of Poly-America, L.P., is currently seeking a Yard Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Pol-Tex International’s mission is to be the safest and most efficient choice in the polyethylene recovery, recycling, and compounding industries. Our fleet, facility, and equipment combined with our experienced and dedicated professional staff make Pol-Tex International the premier gathering and recycling center for the Gulf Coast Region.

Yard Drivers at Pol-Tex are responsible for relocating, docking, and transporting 48’ and 53’ trailers within our manufacturing facility. They must be able to keep up with a fast paced production environment while accurately recording information to ensure on-time shipment of goods. This position also uses propane, sit-down forklifts to help load and unload trailers.  The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• At least one year of experience driving commercial trucks or yard mules.
• The ability to handle trailers quickly in tight spaces regardless of lighting conditions.
• The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management.
• The aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Pol-Tex processes, equipment, and procedures.
