Pol Tex, a Division of Poly America, leading plastics manufacturer, located in Mont Belvieu, TX, is seeking a Human Resources Department Assistant to join the team. Poly America produces several lines of plastic products including high quality trash bags and construction films. A successful candidate must be able to adjust to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Human Resource Department Assistants at Pol Tex are responsible for preparing reports, assisting with new hires and recrusitng, heavy data entry using MS excel and AS400, screening calls in support of HR Manager, and possibly assisting with projects from other departments.  The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management. 
 

The ideal candidate will possess: 
 

• Willing and able to spend time on the plant manufacturing floor when necessary. 
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Ability to work independently and complete work with minimal supervision.
• Provide administrative support to multiple department managers.
• Professionally handling phone calls and administrative duties.
